Tyres are one of the most significant parts of your vehicle even though most people don’t give them the importance they should get. If your tyres are worn it has a dramatic impact on your road holding and increases the stopping distance for your vehicle. This usually results in loss of control of your vehicle in emergency situations.

We have a separate tyre and wheel alignment centre at Blackwater Motors. We fit budget and premium brand tyres. All modern vehicles now have four wheel alignment which makes front wheel tracking only obsolete. All four wheels need to be tracked and aligned in accordance with the manufactures specifications. This requires that your tyre fitters must have a four wheel alignment machine, computer and software to complete this work. It is our experience that most tyre fitters do not have this equipment. If you vehicle is not aligned properly after fitting new tyres, it will cause premature wear on you tyres. At Blackwater Motors, we offer four wheel alignment for €40 plus Vat.
