This role will report directly to the Group Warranty Manager and the duties

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To maintain and operate the service warranty procedures in line with the Volkswagen Group policies, working within the guidelines of the warranty manual provided by the manufacturer.
  • To build & submit all warranty claims to the manufacturer within the guidelines
  • To invoice all warranty jobs using the manufacturer’s standard repair operation times.
  • To maintain the warranty sales ledger in line with the company’s debtor’s policy
  • To set up and maintain an adequate filing system for the keeping of job cards, credit summaries, claim submission acknowledgements etc.
  • To retain these documents in safe keeping and accessible in line with the manufacturers guidelines.
  • To keep up to date with the latest product and technical bulletins that relate to changes in the manufacturers procedures and policies.
  • When requested by the Manufacturer co-ordinate recalls, ensuring outstanding vehicles are pursued until conclusion. Providing regular feedback to the manufacturer on the vehicle recall status.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Warranty Administrator in the motor industry is a minimum requirement.
  • Volkswagen Group experience is desirable, however not completely necessary.
  • Excellent customer service skills, professional appearance and work ethic.
  • Ability to work well in a process driven environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

 Main Purpose of Job:

 We are currently recruiting for a Diagnostic and Service Technicians to join the Blackwater Motors Group, within the Service team at Volkswagen Forge Hill in Cork City.

The role:
 
 The successful candidate will be required to repair and service Vehicles within the Service department. You will be required to deliver a high standard within the workshop in line with specifications set out by manufacturer and processes set out by Blackwater Motors Group.
 
 
 Role Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosis, repairs and servicing of vehicles to the highest standards and to the appropriate manufacturer specification
  • Through the use of diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach, ensure vehicle faults are diagnosed and rectified
  • Ensure full understanding of latest technology introduced on the vehicle range and how to diagnose and repair faults on them
  • Complete relevant service documentation through our non paperless processes on our app Tech plus.
  • High quality work ethic with attention to detail being of utmost importance.
  • Have excellent communication & IT skills, competent at identifying and clearly explaining additional work required and using our online VHC system to record video and photos.

Audi Valetor

Audi Cork are recruiting for a Valetor to join the valeting team.

As a member of our team you will be responsible for the condition of all new and used vehicles delivered to the dealership including cleanliness, documentation, keys etc. You will also be responsible for maintaining the Dealership ensuring it is kept clean and tidy.

Job Description:

  • Cleaning and washing cars using high pressure hoses.
  • Cleaning windows, wheel, door handles, mirrors and interiors as required.
  • Vacuuming and shampooing upholstery and carpets as required.
  • Waxing and polishing cars as required.
  • Ensuring all the above tasks are completed in line standards
  • Undertake additional responsibilities when required.
